Evie Skin, Coat & Hairball Care is formulated around hydrolysed salmon and marine oils.

The primary protein is hydrolysed salmon — 40% freshly prepared, plus a further 15% hydrolysed dried salmon — broken down into small peptides using a natural enzymatic process derived from papaya. Smaller peptides are absorbed more efficiently and, importantly for cats with sensitivities, less likely to trigger the immune reactions that can present as dermatological issues. In a feeding trial by Vista Pet, 95% of owners saw an improvement in their cat's coat condition.*

The recipe also includes:

• Salmon oil, dried algae, borage oil and soya oil — a spectrum of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids (EPA, DHA, GLA, linoleic acid) that support skin barrier integrity, help reduce inflammation, and promote coat softness
• Collagen (3.6% of the finished recipe) to support skin structure, dermis thickness and elasticity
• Beet pulp and cellulose — natural fibre sources that support gut motility and help hairballs pass through rather than accumulate
• Marigold as a natural source of lutein
